Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa.

There are many opportunities available to help with the Meals on Wheels mission. For many seniors, the trusted Meals on Wheels volunteers who show up every day with a hot meal and a marm smile is the only person they see or speak with all day.  By becoming a volunteer, you are providing much more than a warm meal, you are providing human connection to a neighbor in need.

Becoming a Volunteer

1. Fill out the Volunteer Application Form

Location: We deliver throughout the Tulsa Metro and surrounding communities. To find a delivery area near you, please refer to the map and locations on the right side of the page.

2. Provide a Background Check

To ensure the safety of our clients, all volunteers must complete a background check. All information is secure and is not shared with outside organizations.  Secure submission hosted by American Checked. If you have any questions, please contact Dee Dee at 918-921-3563 or ddodd@mowtulsa.org.

3. Confirmation

Once you have completed the volunteer application form and background check, a representative from Meals on Wheels will contact you.  In the meantime, visit our new volunteer page for more information.

There are many opportunities for you to help Meals on Wheels of Tulsa.

Driver: Deliver meals along a pre-arranged route.

Substitute Driver: Called on an "as needed basis" to fill in for routine drivers.

Site Coordinator: Assist in coordinating daily meal deliveries at one of our 14 sites.

Intake Volunteer: Work at main office answering phones and help coordinating deliveries.

Packer: Work with the team to pack pre-packaged meals for pick-up by the drivers.

Corporate Volunteer: Become a Shared Value Partner.  For more info, click here.

Paw Starz Driver: Deliver monthly supply of pet food to recipients' pets.

Event Help: Volunteer to help with one of our great fundraising events.

Snow Day Drivers: Special group of volunteers that come to the rescue delivering meals during snow days. 

Campus Drivers: Deliver meals all over Tulsa. Looking for 2 teams!

All deliveries are made Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., except for Paw Starz deliveries. Pet food deliveries are made the third Saturday of each month.
